Assistant Coach - Daryl Walls
Daryl Walls was an NCAA Division I Assistant Baseball Coach at both Auburn University and Appalachian State. During his time as a college coach Daryl coached over 20 players that were drafted into professional baseball, including 2 first round selections. Coach Walls has extensive experience working with youth baseball players. He helped direct camps at Auburn University and Appalachian State University, and has been on camp coaching staffs for numerous college programs, including Mississippi State University and Old Dominion University. Coach Walls played his college baseball at Mary Washington College from 1994-1997 where he was a four-year award winning pitcher. Daryl has been a member of the American Baseball Coaches Association since 1997. He received a Master of Business Administration degree, with concentrations in finance and sports administration, from Auburn University in March 2000. Daryl is currently Vice President of Operations for Survival Straps and lives in Ponte Vedra with his wife and two children.
Andrew Baker - Lead Pitching Instructor
Andrew Baker is the lead pitching instructor for the FCA BlueClaws travel baseball program and the FCA JAX Pitching Academy. Andrew is a young and passionate coach who is a student of the game and an excellent instructor of the art of pitching. He has worked extensively with youth baseball players (ages 8-13) for the last 6 years. Andrew has actively learned from some of the best pitching coaches on the high school and collegiate level as he has developed his own knowledge and instructional proficiency. Andrew’s experience, research and expertise inspired the creation of the FCA JAX Pitching Academy which unites the physical, mental, and spiritual attributes of pitching.
