Head Coach (Blue Team) - Blake Rhodes

Blake Rhodes is originally from West Tennessee, where he played baseball at Gibson County High School. He continued his baseball career at Mid-Continent University in Mayfield, KY, and Olney Central College in Olney, IL, before completing his Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Mississippi. After college, Blake coached the 19U Ken-Ten Xpress in Fulton, KY, for three seasons and helped lead the Xpress to a Kentucky State Championship in 2008. He then served as a private instructor for Full Count Baseball Academy in Dyersburg, TN, while coaching the 18U Full Count Falcons. Blake moved to Jacksonville to teach and serve as a Baseball Coach at Terry Parker High School. After two seasons at Parker, Blake coached the 18U Jacksonville Warriors, and transitioned to Eagle’s View Academy as a teacher and Baseball Coach. After switching careers, he joined FCA Baseball as a coach for three seasons from 2013-2015. Blake is currently an insurance agent in Jacksonville where he resides with his wife, Britney, and their two sons, Keeton and Stryker. They attend and serve at Southpoint Community Church.

Head Coach (Grey Team) - Lance Heck

Lance Heck was born in Jacksonville and returned to the area in the fall of 2012. He played competitive baseball in south Florida and the Daytona Beach area from the age of 8 to age 20. As a player, he participated in AAU, USSSA, and NABF National Championships, as well as playing in the 1998 Friendship Games in Beijing, China. Lance began coaching in 2003 while still in college and continues to mentor collegiate players. He has coached players from ages 7 to 18 with a high energy, dynamic approach that focuses on team strength through individual development. While coaching the 12U Ormond Beach Golden Spikes in 2012, his team won 41 games and finished their season at Cooperstown Dreams Park. In 2014 Lance coached the 14U Ancient City Thunder. He met his wife Chelcy at a team fundraiser while coaching the Spikes and they are expecting their first child in December of 2014. They enjoy traveling and attend the Church of Eleven 22.
