Coach - Jordan Rooks

Jordan Rooks played high school baseball at Eagle’s View Academy where he was a part of three state championship teams. His senior year he was named a captain of the team and received a USMC male athlete award for honor, courage and commitment. After high school, Jordan went on to play amateur baseball in the Jacksonville MABL where he was a two time all-star selection. He began his coaching career in 2012 at Eagle’s View Academy as a middle school coach and as a travel baseball coach at Oakleaf Sports Association.   Coach Rooks was named an assistant varsity baseball coach at St. Johns Country Day School in 2015 where he currently coaches. He attended Trinity Baptist College where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in 2015. With a continual passion for the youth, Coach Rooks is pursuing a career in education where he intends to make a difference in the classroom. He is a member of Shindler Drive Baptist Church.

 

 

Coach - Chris Angelou

Chris Angelou was born in Jacksonville and played his high school baseball at Sandalwood High School. Chris graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Bachelors Degree in Business Management. In 2015, Coach Angelou coached travel baseball with the Five Star organization and was named an assistant baseball coach at St. Johns Country Day School in Orange Park. Chris is employed by Prudential Financial as a senior claims examiner. Chris attends St. John the Divine Greek Orthodox Church.
